Igniting Team Spirit: Our Team Building Event

After about twenty minutes drive, the team arrived at the Oriental Lifestyle Gallery.

Inside the courtyard, the lawn was neatly, and the trees grow luxuriantly. Cobblestone and wooden walkways extended alongside a clear, mist-tinged pond, with wooden and canvas seating arranged throughout, creating a serene and relaxed atmosphere.

Guided by the host, we proceeded to the incense chamber to experience traditional Chinese incense burning. The host shared the history, crafting techniques, and materials of incense culture before demonstrating the steps of the ceremony. Under guidance, each of us completed our first full incense ritual—a profound and memorable immersion.

Afterward, we entered the tea-tasting room.

The host invited us to sit upright yet comfortably and explained that this was a silent tea session. We were encouraged to relax, close our eyes, breathe deeply, and refrain from speaking. Assistants moved quietly around the room, pouring tea with gentle, unhurried motions. Once cups were filled, we opened our eyes to drink, then closed them again as the attendants refilled our cups. This cycle repeated seven times.

The room remained deeply still. Worries and stresses seemed to soften and dissolve, carried away on the mild, fragrant warmth of the tea. The experience allowed us to appreciate not only the charm of Chinese tea culture but also the quiet philosophy within it.

Following the tea session, we held a brief meeting in the same space. Outstanding employees from the previous year were recognized, and team members shared work plans and suggestions for the company’s development. General Manager Jim Ma offered concise feedback, stressing the need for new marketing strategies, client exploration, and closer colleague collaboration to improve overall efficiency in the coming year.

The outing concluded with a cheerful group photo, full of laughter and shared warmth.
